Numerous solutions for climate change effects presented
Amsterdam, 14 February 2007 - Aquaterra 2007, the world forum on delta and coastal development, was an unqualified success. The three-day event in the Amsterdam RAI, held between 7 – 9 February, was visited 953 times by international conference delegates, speakers, expo visitors and press. Congress attendees and exhibition stand holders alike were impressed by the networking opportunities, international attendance and high quality of the speakers. And the forum presentations explored a variety of positive ways of tackling the effects of climate change around the world.

Dutch Crown Prince to open Aquaterra
Amsterdam, 23 January 2007 – His Royal Highness the Prince of Orange will open Aquaterra, the world forum on delta and coastal development on 7 February 2007. Following the opening ceremony, Prince Willem-Alexander will pay a visit to the adjoining trade show. He has recently been appointed chairman of the United Nations Secretary-General's Advisory Board on Water and Sanitation.

Arcadis to present 150 million dollar New Orleans flood protection project at Aquaterra.

Amsterdam, 17 January 2007 - ARCADIS has chosen Aquaterra to present its recently acquired 150 million dollar project for New Orleans. The company will supply design services, multi-disciplinary advice and construction management for the protection of the New Orleans area against flooding. Aquaterra is an international forum on the development of delta and coastal areas. It will take place from 7 to 9 February 2007 in the Amsterdam RAI.

Over half of the exhibition space at Aquaterra 2007, the world forum on the development of coastal and delta regions, has already been sold. It is expected that the available exhibition space will be completely blocked soon. Companies from around the world have reserved stands, including top dredging, construction and development firms, architects, consultants and equipment suppliers.
